Honestly, w/o any patches from the EA site, they game should work still. This is a totally clean installation because I just done a full-format of the HD and new installation of Windows XP.
Sims 2: Open for Business behaves as if I do not have NightLife nor University installed. I need your help finding a way to get these games to see each other. True I have not attempted to play the game at all yet, let alone create any neighborhoods/stores/whatever, but because I've seen this problem before - and it went unsolved, I'm convinced it doesn't matter, but then again I haven't seen it working properly so I have no idea if those buttons even suppose to be active at this point or not. Now, I open up Sims 2: Open for Business, and the buttons at the top left corner which pertain to neighborhoods created w/ the other two expansion packs are disabled/grayed-out. Then I installed Sims 2: Open for Business. Then I ran it, checked for errors, then exited the game. I installed The Sims 2 (the basic game) from the DVD. I have installed zero (0) updates, but I dont think matter as far as the games acknowledging eachother's presence.
